Vilma meets Mikko, a charming, polite and fascinating man. Vilma falls in love at first sight, and relationship seems perfect at first. Soon, strange things begin to emerge from Mikko's past, and Vilma is forced to make difficult decision.

Vilma visits Mikko's home town for the first time. Life outside the city is starting to feel comfortable, even though Vilma is struggling to maintain her own space in the relationship. Mikko surprises Vilma during her work day.

Vilma is prepared to do anything to ensure the success of family Christmas and to keep the state of their relationship hidden. New home brings joy to their lives, but soon Mikko's pace picks up again and things start to escalate.

Vilma barely survives a midnight crisis and tries to solve their relationship's problems. Their cottage holiday begins in good spirits, but pitch-black clouds cast a shadow over their life together. In the end, it's all about survival.
