The Real World: D.C., also known as The Real World: Washington D.C., is the 23rd season of MTV's reality television series The Real World, which focuses on a group of diverse strangers living together for several months in a different city each season, as cameras document their lives and interpersonal relationships. Washington, D.C. was officially announced as the location for the newest season on June 10, 2009. Filming began on July 2, 2009 and completed on October 12, 2009. The season's December 30, 2009 premiere was watched by 1.9 million viewers. The March 31, 2010 season finale was watched by 1.1 million viewers, the record low at the time for a season finale of the The Real World. The finale was immediately followed with a reunion special, The Real World: Washington D.C. Reunion. Overall the season averaged 1.5 million viewers a week.

The sexual tension between Mike and Ashley leads to hostility. Meanwhile, the ladies decide to help Andrew work on his game.
Love hits a sour note
Josh's girlfriend visits, and each confronts the other about cheating rumors. Meanwhile, Erika gets a big break with her singing career.
When Push Comes to Shove
Ashley opens up about her abusive past after getting into a fight with Andrew. Also: Callie looks for a job.
Bitch Begins With BI
The fur flies between Erika and Ashley causing Erika to think about going home; Mike hangs out with his D.C. fling, but their relationship is tested by Mike's bisexuality.
Out of the Closet and Onto the Stage
Mike opens up to his mom and siblings about his sexuality as jealousies arise when Josh and Erika both look to form bands in DC.
