By the early '70s, his film career was placed firmly in overseeing the ADR for adaptations of foreign-language genre films, working on the U.S. releases of titles including 'King Kong Escapes', 'The War of the Gargantuas', 'Godzilla's Revenge', 'The Retreat From Kiska', 'High Seas Hijack', and 'The One-Armed Executioner'. In 1982, he established the ADR company Showmen, Inc., for which he produced 'Warriors of the Wind', the edited English-language version of Hayao Miyazaki's 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' for Manson International in 1984.
