She was born in San Sebastian, Northern Spain, in 1985. Holds a degree in Sociology though later specialised in documentary film-making moved by a growing interest in exploring the space between fiction and reality. In 2015 writes "Examination of Historical Memory", a theatre play about Spanish historical memory told through her own family stories, which was performed and awarded in Barcelona. She has been awarded with the New Asturian Filmmakers Award (2018) and the best Asturian Short Film prize at FICX Festival in Gijón (2019) for her short film "Gniele Dances".
