José Topumo is a young independent writer and filmmaker, native of the Anzoátegui state. A fan of magical realism, dreamlike and liminal spaces and the stories he heard on the sidewalk from his grandmothers houses, he tries to reflect through his short films the same feelings of fear and excitement that he remembers since he was a child. His first works were made studying at the Iutirla University, under the guidance of Professor Gloria Ferrer, and with the help of his friends. José Topumo is a young independent writer and filmmaker, native of the Anzoátegui state. A fan of magical realism, dreamlike and liminal spaces and the stories he heard on the sidewalk from his grandmothers houses, he tries to reflect through his short films the same feelings of fear and excitement that he remembers since he was a child.
